In addition to his litigation practice, Jason provides general counsel services to individual physicians and physician practice groups that includes general corporate, employment, licensing, insurance, regulatory and other health law issues.  He is a frequent lecturer to resident and attending physicians on topics of chart documentation, malpractice insurance, medical negligence and informed consent.  Jason also lectures to various for-profit and not-for-profit board of directors and officers concerning their fiduciary obligations to the company and personal liability.

 

Jason has served on many local boards of directors and community committees including: Fairlawn Rotary Club and Foundation (Treasurer/Board Member); United Way of Summit County (Development and Priority Funds Committee Member); National Super Kids Classic (Board Member); and the American Diabetes Association, Akron-Canton (Board Member).  Jason is a member of the Akron and Ohio State Bar Associations.  In 2012, he was selected as a “30 for the Future” Award recipient by the Greater Akron Chamber and received the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by United States Congresswoman Betty Sutton.  Jason has been nominated by his peers multiple years as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star™ in Super Lawyers Magazine, Northeast Ohio Live, Law & Politics, and Cincinnati Magazine.
