Justin Tjaden was admitted to practice law in the Ohio and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in 2019. He is a current member of the Akron Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association, Northern District of Ohio Chapter. Justin’s practice focuses primarily on a wide array of civil, business, commercial and tort litigation, dispute resolution and criminal law.
Justin joined Niekamp, Weisensell, Mutersbaugh & Mastrantonio, LLP after graduating from The University of Akron School of Law, where he received his Certificate in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. While attending law school, Justin acted as a Student Ambassador and was a member of The University of Akron School of Law’s nationally ranked Trial Advocacy Program.
Prior to law school, Justin graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, where he played two years of basketball until injuries cut his career short. After ending his athletic career, he rejoined the Mustangs as an assistant coach his senior year. After graduating he returned to his hometown of Julesburg, Colorado, where he worked as the Manager and Publisher of his hometown newspaper, The Julesburg Advocate. While in Julesburg, Justin also sat on the board of Sedgwick County Economic Development, Sedgwick County Organized Recreation (SCOR) and acted as the Public Information Officer for Sedgwick County Emergency Operations.
