Wade Doerr devotes the majority of his current practice to providing legal services to banking institutions and business clients in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
His legal services include but are not limited to: foreclosures, receiverships, confessions of judgment (cognovit notes), civil litigation including trial and appellate practice, execution on judgments, preparation of contracts, releases, mortgages, deeds, buy-sell agreements, corporate and various other legal documents, representation of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, real estate, UCC Article 2 sale of goods disputes, and trademark law.
Wade graduated from the University of Virginia (2000) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (2003). He passed the bars of the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Some of Wade’s notable experiences are that he interned with the Honorable Donald E. Ziegler of the Western District of Pennsylvania, was research assistant to the late Professor Kathryn R. Heidt (bankruptcy and secured transactions), and worked at Neighborhood Legal Services in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Wade also has a background in medical malpractice defense and insurance coverage law. His previous employer was Henderson, Covington, Messenger, Newman & Thomas Co., L.P.A. in Youngstown, Ohio, where he practiced predominantly banking and commercial law.
