Chris Niekamp is the Managing Partner in the firm and he primarily engages in a diverse Commercial and Corporate Law practice representing national and local banking institutions, large corporations and small businesses, debtors and creditors in all phases of Bankruptcy and Collection matters. NWM lawyers have decades of practical experience in the area of Creditor’s Rights and have extensive experience in State Court Receivership actions. Our bankruptcy and creditors’ rights attorneys have represented clients in hundreds of matters addressing all aspects of bankruptcy law, bank foreclosures, workouts, receiverships, forbearance agreements, corporate reorganizations, in-court and out-of-court debt restructurings, asset protection and recovery, and debtor/creditor matters.
Our lawyers regularly represent secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, debtors-in-possession, lessors, suppliers, equity holders, purchasers, trustees, receivers, custodians, and other parties in interest in cases under the Bankruptcy Code and applicable state statutes. Our practice covers most segments of the economy, with particular emphasis on banking, rubber industry, polymers, oil and gas, retail, manufacturing, and real estate.
